MARIWAN, Eastern Kurdistan, — Iran continues to arrest civil and political activists. Accordingly, a civil activist named Azad Khanchezer from Mariwan was arrested. His offence was taking part in Children’s Day, Women’s day, some Cultural event and accusing of destroying the tranquillity of the country. As a result, he has to spend two years and 6 month in prison.
In addition, 3 students, Aram Waisi, Tofiq Pertewi and Dana LincAbady, in Mariwan University were arrested as well. Their offences were condemning the executions in Iran.
