Iranian Revolutionary Guards set fire on Kurdish villages

KERMANSHAH, Eastern Kurdistan, — The jungles of a village in Kermanshah were set on fire on yesterday 9th July by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

 

According to the local news sources, the Iranian Army set fire on Kurdish villages since they presumed that the Kurdish guerrillas were hiding there.

 

This is not the first time that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard set fire on the Kurdish villages with the pretext of targeting the Kurdish guerrillas. The Kurdish villages are regularly set in fire and up till now hundred hectares of forests in east of Kurdistan have been burned and no efforts have been made to extinguish them.
