Kermanshah- Eastern Kurdistan: According to the news from Newroz TV, the Eastern Kurdistan’s jungles of Kermanshah are burning for the past four days and no efforts from the Iranian government have been made to extinguish the fire.
Ferhad Tejri, Gillangerb deputy of Islamic parliament in Iran, stated that ‘there is a strong possibility in burning civil houses by this fire’. He added ‘the environment has destroyed a lot and if there won’t be any attempt for extinguishing it, the environment of Gilangerb will destroy in a significant amount’.
Tejri also criticized the authorities for not having any attempt to quench the flames that has been continuing for four days.
In conjunction to this disaster, sometime ago more than 20 hectares of farms in Serpel Zehaw was set in fire that was not extinguished. Similarly, 70 hectares of Sewlawa’s forests in Merwan was burned and the Iranian negligent regime did not do anything about it.
