Kurds are known as an ethnic group in the Middle-East, but in fact the Kurds are one nation with more than 50 million people. Since the Kurds have been oppressed for a long time and had no opportunity to write their own story based on facts, did all the great powers from the Middle- East changed the story of the Kurds, and make it look like their story, and try to show to the rest of the world that the Kurds were the bad-guys! The documents that exist and could prove the true history of Kurds were burned and destroyed by the occupying powers of Kurdistan. I do not want to tell the whole story from the beginning. If you will, you can find some books with plain facts. Just want to point out that the Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan which currently is serving his life sentences in Turkish prison in Imrali Island has written thoroughly about the Kurdish history in many of his books as you can find at the library.
What is important for me in this article is to show that the Kurdish people had suffered because all they want is to make peace with the other countries and Nations. Always been scammed from the big powers, and you may wonder… who are the powers? Iran, Turkey, Iraq, Syria and many, many other nations, America, Israel and imperializes power. The Kurds are one nation that wants to live a peaceful life, without any use of violence. And histories have always said that the Kurdish people never attacked or destroyed another country or city/town.
In 1930, the Kurdish rebel leader Simko Shikak was tricked by the Iranian Qajar royal Mohamed Reza-sha, and was killed. They had invited him to a negotiation about the Kurdish question, and he got killed upon his arrival at the meeting room. In 1946, Qazi Mohamed who was the leader of the Kurdish Republic, in the town of Mohabad, he was executed along with two of his close friends and the head of the republic, in the king of Iran, Reza Shah time period. The only thing Qazi Mohamed demanded that Kurds was to have equal rights and autonomy for Kurdish people in Iran.
The Iranian revolution in 1979, Kurds were promised by the leaders of the insurgency, autonomy, autonomy for the Kurds… After Khomeini’s, famous speech on Jihad against the Kurds after the revolution, many Kurds were executed and killed. In 1980 and 1984, thousands of Kurds, imprisoned, and one hundred were executed under the lime of Ali orders. Permission had been given directly from Khomeini to commit genocide against the Kurds. Many children, old people, women, and men were sacrificed in Khomeini’s Jihad against the Kurds.
In 1986, Dr. Qasimlo in Vienna was terrorized, many believe, that Ahmadinejad the Iranian president today, was one of the murderers of this inhuman act that took place. In 1992, Dr. Sheref Kendi was terrorized in Berlin in Mikonos restaurant, where he was meeting a delegation from the Iranian authorities to discuss and find solution for peace between Kurdish rebel group and Iran.
Now as you know … Kurdish people have always been tricked into negotiations while the Kurdistan occupiers, stick their bloody knife behind their back! As most people know, right after the presidential election in Iran, many were arrested; tortured, imprisoned, and even boys and girls were raped in the rough Iranian jails … most by the cops! Many people got death-penalty and was branded as’ enemies of God”. Those who dislike the Iranian regime can let the pastor be stamped either by being,
‘’God’s enemy’’ or those they belong to certain opposition party or armed individuals. The recent years, the Kurdish party has been very active and fighting for Kurdish rights and for all the nations of Iran, the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK). Many of PJAK’s members and sympathizers were imprisoned and many were executed in Iranian prisons. Four of PJAK’s members with an Iranian activist were executed in Evin prison on a Sunday 9th May 2010. And today there are sixteen Kurdish Human-rights-defenders in prison and could be executed at any time! Therefore it is important that we should stop this barbaric and inhuman that Iranian regime does to its citizens, especially the Kurds.
