The elections turned into appointing and political coups of 1400 (2021)
The thirteenth presidential election in Iran was boycotted by the opposition outside of Iran and East Kurdistan, as well as part of operating inside Iran. The Democratic Freedom Society of East Kurdistan (KODAR) The Kurdistan Freedom Life Party (PJAK) also strongly boycotted the election. Overall, with felicity to the active stances of the Iranian people, the boycott, as expected, such a radical civil and political front emerged and achieved significant results.
The election was engineered several months earlier by the Leadership House with Khamenei’s leading. The extremist wings of the IRGC, taking into calculation of the powerful economic, military and ideological interests, accomplished all the orientations and gradually eliminated the dissidents, the opposition and the opposition. This action was completed by the reckless disqualifications currently and factional dismissals in the last month, and they wanted the people to use it to legitimise the election. The disqualification of some of their actions of the Leadership House was also a demagogic demonstrate to forward themselves decisively. By passing, the results of the illustrate voting, pre-voting actions obliterated its legitimacy.
The extremist faction of the disciple row, of “the appointed province of the jurisprudent”, not only rejected the line of weak and inefficient reformists, but also the line of “elected province of the jurist” within the internal of the extremist current. The reformists also proved of being unreliable to society. Therefore, in order to preserve and maintain their system, which had been distrusted in recent years due to the popular uprisings, the regime compulsory had to resort to this political displacement, which we call the “1400 coup”. The elections turned into appointing and political coups of 1400 (2021).
Women were absent therein forever, and the theocratic patriarchal character used their last weapons against women to remove them from the politics and management arena. This was while the women’s struggles in the recent years have proved themselves existence more than other civic institutions. The election was proved in the history with the mentality of theocratic sexist, war against a community of millions of women.
The peoples of Iran, from Fars to the Kurds, Balooch, Lores, Arabs, Azeris, and others, by the boycotting the elections and in fact forwarded to several steps onward. This popular boycott cannot be evaluated in accordance of the demagogic results and statistics announced by the regime’s authoritarian apparatus, which show a turnout of 48.8 percent. The use of force, intimidation, poverty, insolvency and unemployment of citizens as a card of pressure and coercion against them to get them to the polls was obvious to all public opinion inside and outside. However, the results below 50% are a sign of the victory of the People’s Front against the oppressive force of the Leadership House apparatus.
Except of this evaluation and interpretation of this would be a clear violation of the rights of the radical and truth-seeking peoples. The official announcement of 48.8% is a fake and a fraudulent statistic with the consensus of all the power apparatus and its extremist institutions, which the most of them has no transparency. Furthermore the 26 percent turnout in Tehran and the low turnout in the cities of the East Kurdistan was a clear indication of the fact, that the illustration was based on force.
The Leadership House led by Khamenei was finally hit and weakened before leaving. The Leadership House lost its legitimacy and the turnout below 50% showed the distrust of the people towards Khamenei’s Headquarter and his apparatus dictatorship divine. It faced strong public opposition by using the divine head quarter’s base for power-seeking purposes outside of religion. Therefore, the base of this obstinate and self-centred divine was severely discredited and even suffered fatal and irreparable blows to its future. The House, which also used the Fatwa (holiest religious order) as a ploy and a tool of religious intimidation, lost its prestige and became invalid by facing the protests of the people. This Fatwa weapon, despite the strong aspect of the Iranian religious community, was still not effective due to the rejection of the apparatus by the society.
The unprecedented boycott of the people is in fact a great achievement for the future popular struggles, and a basis for entering the post-uprising period, which was such as referendum to confirm the uprisings of 22nd Dec 2017- 20th January 2018 and October-2019 and to continue in memory of the victims of those demonstrations. The uprising, which the regime wanted to erase it from the memory of the society with the assign of the thirteenth term, but the regime, was politically defeated. This means that from now on, with this popular support, the civil uprisings and protests will make the purpose of the regime more difficult.
This boycott has strengthened the activities of the street, especially women, youth, labours, employees and intellectuals, in the hope of entering a more radical stage. The regime has been faced these dire consequences because it was not frightened from the peoples and did not concern about them. This boycott is only one component of the whole struggle of the peoples, and it will certainly be complemented by other aspects. This path of the progressive’s people has been continuing on for years and it is irreversible and unbreakable.
After the illustrated voting of 1400 (2021), which was fundamentally a political coup, despite all the failures of the power apparatus and the illegitimacy, and despite this volume of crises and political, economic and social chaos certainly no one should expect a miracle saviour from an appointed president. This is because he merely is only a one-man and have a warmonger authoritarian system. Therefore, none of the affairs will not only be resolved, but will be traded and used, from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to oppressive internal settings, to engineer power and domination against the society. They use Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to calm and direct the situation in order to use it to maintain their authoritarian power. Iran is one of the oppressive circles of the world capitalism, and that is sufficient for it to join the anti-people front.
The regime intends to adhere to the “compromise” solution instead of the “democratic solution” in all internal and foreign arenas, ignoring the radical demands of the people. The popular front of the boycott is the same as the “democratic solution” front against the “compromise” front, and this conveys that a tense and critical future awaits the society and the government in Iran. The society has proved that they cannot remain silent and could not tolerate the continuation of the chaotic situation of the power apparatus as in 1979. Therefore, the situation has not been changed even slightly, but the positions of the people will become more radical. A manifest of this is the massive strike by thousands of oil and gas workers just four days after the election.
The Kurdish issue, meanwhile, is the biggest and most fundamental issue of the Iranian regime, which will reimbursement it, if it does not resolve it democratically. Antagonising to the freedom of the Kurdish people has weakened the entire system and oppressed Iranian society. In the thirteenth election, none of the appointed candidates had the slightest plan to serve the nations. The appointing of the extremists itself was a message to the people that the repression will continue. The unification of all three executive, legislative and judicial branches in the footsteps of Khamenei and the IRGC will be the beginning of a period of repression, repression and war, not the solution of Iran’s fundamental problems, and this is the most dangerous situation for everyone.
The unification of all three executive, legislative and judicial branches in the footsteps of Khamenei and the IRGC will be the beginning of a period of repression, suffocate and war, not the solution of Iran’s fundamental problems and this is the most dangerous circumstances for everyone. The popular boycott, but also is the response to that deep rooted contemporary Iranian fascism. If the nations of Iran do not struggle against the authoritarian regime after the achievements of recent years, they will face more severe cultural genocides policies and more brutal political and military repression. Iran also has been placed on the capitalist line in the destruction of nations and pursues NATO policies at its position. The external tensions of the system are only a competition for regional and global power and hegemony between the capitalist fronts themselves.
This front, which is antagonising the Kurdish nation, has formed a single line in the Middle East. This is while the same nation has become the hope of all the oppressed peoples and has increased the hope of the peoples for freedom. We as The Democratic Freedom Society of East Kurdistan (KODAR) The Kurdistan Freedom Life Party (PJAK) strongly note, that thinking about the future of the society of Iran and East Kurdistan will not be limited to a category called pre-election and voting. It is the elections that emerge from the heart of democracy, not democracy from the elections. Therefore, from now on, this election is not only an illustration of the thirteenth term of Iran, but the popular boycott front and its results, which are important. This boycott certainly is not everything, but it is a several steps forward and closer to the full-fledged democratic activity of the Iranian nations. Both the theocratic and political sovereignty of the current regime were defeated in the realms of “republic” and “Islam”.
This is the beginning of a stage, not the whole of the next stage. The future will be determined by the community itself by achieving the initiative. We such as our people’s liberation movement, we will spare no effort and struggle to serve the people of Iran and the Eastern Kurdistan. We will fulfil this human, moral, political and democratic duty with all enthusiasm, sincerity and devotionally. While, we do not accordance the future of our struggles, according to the worthless issues, such as the regime’s election show, but with a deeper foresight, we have greater thoughts and beyond for achieving all legitimated rights as a full-fledged struggle for the peoples.
We will fulfil this human, moral, political and democratic duty with all enthusiasm, sincerity and intimately. While, we do not accordance the future of our struggles, according to the worthless issues, such as the regime’s election show, but with a deeper foresight, we have greater thoughts and beyond for achieving all legitimated rights as a full-fledged struggle for the peoples. In this regard, we firmly believe in ourselves and call on the democratic platform of the Kurdish people and the peoples of Iran to count on our support to the extent the sacrifice. Iran’s future further than an election-boycott campaign, it is a continuous and long-lasting democratic campaign that will surely reach its target.
Our strong belief in women, youth, workers, employees, intellectuals, and academics has been strengthened in recent years by the growth of a popular presence, and we have reached a point where all fractions and all oppositions should be united to unite the struggles for freedom. The same unity of the peoples has now become the frightening for the authoritarian regime, and the democratic front of the peoples will surely succeed.
