Iran pressures on Kurdish artists in Kirmashan

KIRMASHAN, East Kurdistan, — Iran launched a new campaign to water down Kurdish culture in the Kirmashan. The Intelligence Agents of Islamic Republic in this province have threatened the Kurdish artists who promote Kurdish music in Kirmashan.

The Minster for Education has warned Kurdish artists who travel to South Kurdistan (north-Iraq) to avoid meeting with the Kurdish press and if they act in way present the Kurdishness they will be arrested once come back to East Kurdistan (north-west-Iran).
