In recent days, a strong rain system has moved across Rojhelat, affecting the four provinces of Ilam, Kermanshah, Kurdistan (Sine), and Urmia. The rainfall has been helpful for water resources and farming, but in some places it has also caused small problems like water on roads.
Sine Province:
Sine saw the most rain among the four provinces. The city of Mariwan had the highest rainfall, followed by Baneh and Saqqez. The rain has been very helpful for farmers and has improved water levels in the area.
Kermanshah (Kirmaşan) Province:
In Kermanshah, rain was strong in mountain areas like Paveh and the Hawraman region. Rivers and streams have filled up again, which is good for nature and agriculture.
Urmia (West Azerbaijan) Province:
Cities like Piranshahr and Sardasht received steady rain. The weather was also cooler and windy. These rains have helped improve the water situation in the province.
Ilam Province:
Ilam also received rainfall, though less than in other provinces. Still, it has helped green the land and reduce dry conditions.
Experts say these rains are important for the region and can help after dry periods. However, people are advised to be careful because of possible flooding and slippery roads. More rain is expected in the coming days.
