According to a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association (KMMK), a number of political prisoners have been arrested in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj in order to declare dissatisfaction with the physical and psychological violence of the agents inside the prison and, as a result of being transferred from one clause to another, 19 days have gone on hunger strike.
According to the ROJ NEWS agency, quoting the sources of information inside the prison, a number of political prisoners have been on hunger strike in Rajai Shahr Prison against violent and non human rights violations by prison officials.
However, although there are no statistic in the number of strike prisoners, it is stated that these political prisoners, because they have been transferred from section 12 to section 10, and also in order to declare their dissatisfaction with torture and torture of prison officers for a period of 19 days They are on hunger strike.
In the news, despite the surveillance cameras, prisoners are referred to in paragraph 10 of the prison, and at the same time, these political prisoners have stated that they will not end their hunger strike until they return to section 12 of the prison.
It is worth noting that the agents of the prison have refused to provide the necessary personal and necessary equipment to the detainees, including the books and medicine they need.
