Huseyn Nejawî talked to Kurdistan Human Rights Network according his brother, Sîrwan Nejawî’s execution. Huseyn said that Tabriz’s prison authorities informed them about his brother’s execution today, 9th August.
Sîrwan Nejawî was a Kurdish political activist from Serdeşt, Nejawî and another activist Ibrahîm Îsapur imprisoned on 5ht July 2012, on the charge of collaborating with PJAK (Free Life Party of Kurdistan). Later on March 2012 They were sentenced to death and their sentence confirmed by Supreme Court.
Sîrwan Nejawî and Îbrahîm Îsapur were transformed from Ûrmiye to Tabriz prison for execution, but they were not executed. Îbrahîm Îsapur transformed back to Ûrmiye prison last month, and Sîrwan Nejawî was executed today in Tabriz prison.
