Two Kurdish Kolbers were injured in Bashmax border

EAST KURDISTAN,— Kurdish Kolbers (back carriers) and tradesmen that gathered in protest in front of Police station of Piran, were attacked by Iranian forces. Also, around Meriwan border gate, two Kurdish drivers were injured in a shoot-out by Iranian security forces.

According to local sources, Kolbers and tradesmen from Deretfe, Ne, Degashexan, Serdosh, Njmar, Sernjmar that during these days have demonstrated in front of police station of Piran, were beaten by Iranian security forces.

In another incident, on 25 December a car was targeted near Bashmax border gate in Meriwan, and Yusef, a resident of Kolan village and the driver of the car was injured. In another occurrence, Huseyn, a driver of a minibus was severely injured by Iranian security forces and was transferred to Meriwan hospital.

Furthermore, at 22:00 p.m., on 26 December, a number of Kolbers on the Seqiz-Pencuwen road, had encountered with a mine area in Shayan and Mishawe and as a result, Mohemmed Miri, one of the Kolbers, lost one of his legs and was transferred to a hospital in Silemani in Southern Kurdistan.

Meanwhile, Shno and Neqede representatives in the Iranian parliament criticized the increased pressure on the people of Eastern Kurdistan in a meeting with internal minister of Iran.

Ebdulkerim Huseynzade and Resul Xizri, members of the parliament asked interior ministry of Iran Mohammad Najjar a question about militarizing the province of Urmiye and the increased pressures on the people living in these border areas.

The Neqede, Shno, Piranshar and Serdesht representatives in the Iranian parliament also criticized the inadequate and unconstructive interaction between governor of Urmiye and members of parliament of this province as a cause to the more pressure on Kurdish people.
