ANKARA, Turkey, — Scott Kilner the American Ambassador to Turkey stated that against the PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party) they give more than a million dollar to Turkey each day.
In an interview with Turkey’s Cumhuiriyet Newspaper Kliner revealed his country’s massive support for Turkey on its war against the Kurdistan resistance movement.
“Just to appease the Turks, each day we give more than a million dollar to Turkey on its war against the PKK, but at the same time the Turks take this for granted,” said Kliner.
Kliner pointed that in the Turkish media they take all these support for granted and added, “This is while that in the last years the United States has provided Turkey with intelligence.”
Stressing his country’s support for Turkey Kliner observed that prior to the EU; this was the United States which designated the PKK as a terrorist organisation.
