AMED, Kurdish Capital, — The pro-Kurdish BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) has taken the case of Roboski Massacre to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
35 Kurdish workers were massacred on 28th December 2011 in an air-strike by Turkish F16 in the village of Roboski in province of Sirnak.
The BDP Commission of Law completed a file on the slaughter accompanied by photographs and reports on the event, requesting investigation by ICC prosecutors.
The details of the appeal is expected be explained today at a press conference in the Parliament by BDP Group Chairman Hasip Kaplan, ANF said.
BDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş stated on 24 January that they had also appealed to UN Human Rights Council to investigate the Roboski Massacre.
